It's for Cora [Sep. 13th, 2004|01:52 am] [ feelin' | calm ] As you all may but probably don't remember, last Spring, Greed decided to be my muse. That was fine, I needed a good pushy "hey draw something" muse. Over the summer, he has moved in, becoming my new head-roommate. (Envy and Rikku from FF live there too, but that's not important for this story) The point is, Greed is very persistent. I bought a piggy bank for Cora-neesama. Greed decided that the piggy needed to look like him. It is fortunate that Cora is also fond of Greed, because I cannot argue with him; the piggy is now painted to look like Greed. FMA AMV [Apr. 14th, 2004|09:35 am] [ feelin' | blank ] [ join in our groove thang | Betsuri--FMA OST ] Hm...found this on the web, so you might all have seen it...but then again maybe not. The first time I watched it, I wasn't too fond of it. It's got some nice things, yes, like how the images, albiet subtly, move to the pacing of the song. The cuts are good, and so are the transitions between frames. While this is not a major point, and not really noticable, it bears mentioning, because BAD transitions are always noticable. The song is also somewhere between happy and sad, which is my favorite sort of song. The second time I watched it, I liked it a little bit more, and I think I'll watch it again...just because. The only thing I wasn't clear on was the story they were trying to tell. Right now it seems like sort of a review...but then the way the end is organized makes me think there were tryig to communicate something specific. For me, though, the best part is maybe the last...45 seconds to a minute, where it's a run of Ed in battle. I like. I'm a big music video fan, anyway. The song is "The Gates of Dawn" by Secret Garden, video created by Crustol, and you can watch it on my server here.
